When you mention "the IPS switchover in b134", does that mean that you were testing previously on a Nevada build 133 system, or on an OpenSolaris system?
Ah. Um. I can't remember what I installed, but I'm 95% it was opensolaris. The machine at b133 started at b111 and has been "pkg image-update"'d at least 5 times since then. SUNWfoo installed fine on that machine. The b134 machine was installed with b130 OpenSolaris and image-update'd to b134.
