I thought I had, but after specifically setting it and re-enabling ipkg.sfbay.sun.com/dev/, I see that 'pkg publisher' is giving me something I previously hadn't seen. I suspect that this was what I missed. > > Cheers, > -Shawn > On Mon, 19 Apr 2010, Liane Praza wrote: > On 04/19/10 01:43 PM, Randy Fishel wrote: > > > > > > I have an snv134 install (installed about 3 weeks ago) that I am > > trying to update with on-nightly and I am getting: > > > > No updates available for this image. > > > > What have I missed? > > > > Thanks! > > > > ---- Randy > > > > > > ran...@pm1:~$ pkg publisher > > PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI > > on-nightly (preferred) origin online > > http://ipkg.sfbay.sun.com/on-nightly/ > > opensolaris.org (disabled) origin online > > http://ipkg.sfbay.sun.com/dev/ > > > > Why's ipkg.sfbay/dev disabled? It wasn't previously, and I thought that maybe this was the reason it was giving me the message (the machine should have no updates w.r.t. ipkg.sfbay.sun.com/dev/, as that task was already completed). As a follow-on question, is there a wiki (or something similar) that can be updated by gatelings (or some set of developers) that could be the foundation of a FAQ? It would certainly help alleviate others from bugging this group (or others) should they have the same or similar problems.
