You've had this discussion off-line with our product boss already.
He is the manager responsible for selecting and approving this name.
Frankly, I share your aesthetic distaste for this name, I would prefer
"studioexpress", but it's not up to me.

One common way (I hope) of installing the software would be to
ask for the component you want.  If you want the Express version
of the C compiler, you would just say "pkg install ccx".

One of the factors in the decision is that there are other Oracle
products called "studio".  Weblogic Workshop Studio is one.

If there agreement from several people that a specific alternative
is significantly better, I'd be glad to advocate a different name
to our product boss and see if I can get him to change his mind.
