As I've been working on converting the X packages to IPS, I've
been keeping notes on the attributes I've found actually in use
so far in the various repos, and updated the doc/tags-and-attributes.txt
file to reflect what appears to be the current state of reality.
I've posted the changes I've found so far at:

I understand this document wasn't necessarily supposed to be the one true
registry of known attributes, but as more people start building packages
themselves, such a registry will be useful to have, and this seemed a good
a place to start for now.
While I'm posting this mostly to share my findings and see if I've gotten
any of these wrong before I start baking them into X packages, if it would
be useful to update the doc in the gate I can easily file a bug and generate
a hg changeset for someone to apply.
