hmm, interesting. I just tried it myself. I found that using 138 I am
able to onu to my bits. but if install 134 then onu to my private bits,
it failed to load it.
for both case, publishers are set the same as follow:
r...@sol-v40z-1:/tmp# pkg publisher
PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI
opensolaris.org (preferred) origin online
http://netinstall-osol.sfbay/
local origin online
http://netinstall-osol.sfbay:9000/
There is no reason for us to stick with 134 so our problem is solved.
:-) Thanks.

Would somebody please help us on this issue? We met some trouble to load

There's not enough information in this mail to diagnose the problem.
Can you tell us the output of 'pkg publisher' before running onu?
For reference, here's what I have on a test machine, from which I
successfully ran an onu to a nightly build.
t...@tcx2200m2-02[517] pkg publisher
PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI
opensolaris.org (preferred) origin online http://ipkg.sfbay/dev/
extra origin online
https://pkg.sun.com/opensolaris/extra/
t...@tcx2200m2-02[518] uname -a
SunOS tcx2200m2-02 5.11 snv_138 i86pc i386 i86pc
cheers,

Our test developer is trying to load some private image to his test
machine. Below is what he did:
1. install opensolaris 134
2. # /ws/onnv-tools/onbld/bin/onu -t flowadm-zone-0510 -d
/the-private-nightly-directory
3. # reboot
Now from his test machine, I saw flowadm-zone-0510 is active:
r...@ns-x4200-21:~# beadm list
BE Active Mountpoint Space Policy Created
-- ------ ---------- ----- ------ -------
flowadm-zone-0510 NR / 5.14G static 2010-05-12 10:14
flowadm-zone-511 - - 217.15M static 2010-05-13 07:02
opensolaris - - 7.68M static 2010-05-11 16:39
But, the actual image is still 134a:
r...@ns-x4200-21:/lib# more /etc/motd
Oracle Corporation SunOS 5.11 snv_134a March 2010
To further verify, I checked some lib binaries and the libs didn't
contain what the private image suppose to have.
Is this because we missed nightly options and/or image update steps? or
is it some bug in ips? If the latter, any workaround?
Thanks a lot for help.
