Someone was complaining about a build server being slow, so I've just started to look into it... and this thing called pkg.depotd seems to be constantly near the top of top output... so what was it doing... ... I would be very surprised if the build server in question was overloaded by two threads in pkg.depotd. My desktop runs
pkg.depotd, and in 10 days pkg.depotd has accumulated perhaps 13 minutes of actual CPU time - and part of that is due to my running tests against it. - Bart -- Bart Smaalders Solaris Kernel Performance [email protected] http://blogs.sun.com/barts "You will contribute more with mercurial than with thunderbird." _______________________________________________ pkg-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-discuss
