Not that I can think of - logadm.conf records all the desired rotation
parameters for a log file set, and the desire to rotate that set is not
expressed anywhere else. A root cron job runs at 3:10am and iterates
through
/etc/logadm.conf.
But otherwise, pkg(5) doesn't yet provide a mechanism for doing
preserved file transformation (merges, edits, etc.). One has been
proposed though.
I guess it will be one for the release notes then.
The alternative would be a one-time SMF service to perform the upgrades
needed.
We'll look into that. An alternative may be to have a dedicated
/var/fm/fmd/fmdlogadm.conf file and a corresponding cron entry,
or spawn logadm against that conf file periodically from fmd
itself. Yuk.
Logadm needs help.
