The webrev, http://cr.opensolaris.org/~padraig/ips-16925-v1/, fixes 16925 Activation of Manage Boot Environments menu item is slow
The change in this webrev, the moving off the Thread call to the end of Beadmin's __init__ function, reduces the time used by the __init__ function from about 2.4 seconds to about .4 seconds.
