Similarly:

     found in package/svr4, but that is not listed as a package dependency.

which appears to convert an SVR4 package to a "driver update" to be applied via 
itu.

and:

 *** /usr/bin/updatemedia (system/core-os) requires module
     /usr/sbin/patchadd which could not be found in any package.

which really sounds like it's been obsoleted by distro-constructor:

# updatemedia - modify Solaris media with patches and packages
