Sorry I missed some previous context here, but I wanted to mention, that
SOME, but not all, pkgrepo tools, seems to have a default of /var/pkgrepo
The only thing that has that default is 'application/pkg/pkg-server.xml'.
And that is merely the default location listed in the SMF manifest.
There's no code anywhere that defaults to that location.
