It's possible, but none of the package maintainers are as paranoid about having libglib2.0-0 & libgtk2.0-0 (and their dependencies) installed on their servers to have bothered making the change.

Why are you installing the postgis package on your server? Which of the executables it provides do you use?

My guess is that use none of the executables, and only need to install the postgresql-9.5-postgis-2.2 & postgresql-9.5-postgis-scripts packages on your server.
