I do know of one other unsolved bug that might impact tomcat5 usage. If
you get reports of "java.lang.IllegalStateException: Zip file already
closed: common/lib/commons-pool-1.2.jar" then it most likely is

No its another one - an NPE in javax.security.XXX (don't remember exactly now).
But the above one I got also during work on the package - however it
disappeared somehow after a packaging change. I think the change was
to remove the class-path entry in the Manifest file of bootstrap.jar
and put the needed startup jars directly into the classpath (If I
remember correctly).
