maven.pom and jdom-info.xml are obviously covered by the project license. catalog.xml and catalog.xsl are not used and could be removed. The other xml files under core/samples/ are trivial test files undoubtedly covered by the project license. hamlet.xml isn't used either. It's a test file for a performance test that isn't even executed during the build nor bundled in the binary package.
