Control: reassign -1 javahelper 0.60 Control: affects -1 libidw-java Thank you Adrian. This issue was introduced by javahelper 0.60 that now uses the source/target level 1.7 by default. At this level the compiler becomes picky about the character encoding. javahelper must be modified to also specify a default encoding. ISO-8859-1 should be a good choice because any one byte character is considered valid.
