Well, the digikam build with 0.25 just stops with an error -- as you say, its from the cmake file. It's possible this is just to "prevent crashes", but I hate to second-guess upstream. Moreover, preventing crashes is good. So I'd prefer to focus on getting exiv2 0.26 into Debian. -Steve
