Yes, on hurd,kfreebsd archs libasound2-dev is provided by the package
'liboss-salsa-dev', so I thought trying to build the package would be
useful anyway.

PS BTW, about the commits description, I catch'd the advice and I
agree, short and non-descriptive messages are not useful at all.
