Ryan Niebur reminded me on IRC to join the team by starting off with
an introduction.
I work for Opscode, the company that created Chef. We're trying to get
Chef and all its dependencies packaged and into Debian (and
Ubuntu :-)), and have been working with Bryan McLellan. He has
packaged a number of Ruby libraries and dependencies already,
including our tool 'ohai'. I'm currently working on Chef's server
dependencies, which include Merb[1].
I have an alioth account, 'jtimberman' - which is my nick on IRC and
nearly everywhere else.
