Package: src:sysvinit Version: 2.88dsf-22 Severity: important It is unreasonable to leave the new package "bootlogd" without any dependencies at all. In fact, a UNIX system lacking bootlogd should be considered crippled.
At a time when "ntfs-3g" and "ntfsprogs" are brought in using "Recommends" to a GNU/Linux system, the omission of a now separate package "bootlogd" is severe. Do mark "bootlogd" as "Depends" in a suitable stanza, or at least "Recommends". The latter would imply that it is an action of will to exclude a basic administration tool of great importance.
