Yes certainly at the upgrade of initscripts they ask me, and generally i answer [N] ,i was not aware of the importance of this script and what he do, its was working so fine until 2.6.39 and 3.0 with errors. A suggestion, the maintener of the initscripts can he test the date of the scripts and suggest firmly to replace the script. 2009--->2012, in 3 years linux 2.2 linux 3.3 they were plenty changes and the normal user don't know what and it's normal.
