Yeah. One idea that occured to me yesterday, as I refreshed my memory, was that the metainit package and the #651004 but report discussed just this issue a few years ago. What about putting it there instead? The advantage is that it will end up in a package that seem quite fit for the purpose. The disadvantage is that it will be a new dependency for initscripts if we decide to use this feature in those scripts, which I belive is a key to make this feature known and ensure package maintainers that this is a safe thing to depend on. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen _______________________________________________ Pkg-sysvinit-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-sysvinit-devel
