I've looking after this bug using dbus-monitor[*] but everything I can see is that they are neither "Error" signals in D-Bus for the video files nor the final "Finished" signal after the "Ready" responses. Simply some of the files in the "Ready" signal are missing (all the videos, and sometimes other non-video thumbnails that the service had no time to process)
It seems that, when the thumbnailer gst plugin dies on segfault, the
general service can't continue and the "Queue" request remains
incomplete.
