I've realized there is no more tumbler-gst segfaults messages in kernel.log since August 25. That day was an update of the packages gstreamer1.0-x, gstreamer1.0-plugins-base and gstreamer1.0-plugins-good version 1.0.8-1.
So this bug can be closed (although the video thumbnails still are not
generated in my system).
