Regarding Kickoff - it looks like there are some problems in its model handling: F3894000: Spectacle.m20682.png <https://phabricator.kde.org/F3894000> This does not happen with Kicker, Dash nor the KAStats test application. The empty spaces seem to be empty spaces, not items without title and icon.
