Hello,

You can add a bunch of geometries to a single body, and then attach
any number of joints to the body. Adjust the place where the joint is
attached to the body via the SetAnchor() function. And I would use
whatever joint has the minimal DOF necessary. If you can use a hinge
joint instead of a ball joint, then do so.

i.e. a base-body, with a few other bodies on top of it, the purpose is to 
connect other effectors on these points, (i.e. grippers, all with different 
initial position and orientation, but still able to move up/down relative to 
the base...). I wanted to make the connection with a BallJoint, and make it at 
a fixed angle. (for the ease of modelling the grippers and other effectors, I 
wanted to model the effector in one plane, and then set the angles of the 
balljoint..., but something is telling me this is not the way to go...)
