Hello, Nested models are connected via an ODE joint. In your case, a laser should be attached to a car. When the car moves, the joint that connects the car to the laser will cause the laser to move. If you are disabling the laser and setting it's position yourself, then the car will move normally and the laser will go where ever you command it.
If you want the laser to remain fixed to the car, then you have to let ODE handle updating its pose. -nate On 6/21/07, Vincent Duindam <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi! > > We're trying to attach a laser scanner model to our own model of a > car.
