Hi,

It seems that gazebo trimesh collision only works with ode 0.8 built
with the OPCODE library. Also, unlike trimesh visuals, trimesh
collision meshes are not automatically resized and therefore should
not need to be scaled in the world file. Just thought that might help
anyone working on indoor environments.
