Hello,

It's a matter of environment variables.

You have to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include paths to all your
libraries. You also have to set CPATH to include paths to all your
includes.

So, you can do something like:

export
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/ogreroot/lib:/home/boost_1_40_0/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
export CPATH=/home/ogreroot/include:/home/boost_1_40_0/include:$CPATH

The places that you have installed everything is not very convenient.
If you want to install things locally (which I highly recommend), you
might want to consider installing everything into one directory tree.

For instance, I install things to:
/home/<username>/local

This keeps everything in one place, and I don't have to keep changing
environment variables.
