Well, assuming the actual differences would be pretty small, it would probably
be easier just to put #ifdef's in the code, and have autoconf set the #defines
up correctly... let's first get things working under normal x86, though ;)
I don't know anything about sledgehammer. Is it x86 compatible, to some extent?
I hope they learned from their previous architecural mistakes and did the
virtualisation thing right this time...
