It is not yet at a state where you would want to use it.  It's orders of 
magnitude slower than a real PC at present.  I haven't booted windows 95 
on plex86 personally, but I imagine it probably takes at least an hour to 
do so presently.  Probably more.

I don't think it's possible to say yet.  It does have a long way to go 
before it will surpass vmware in stability in performace, but I think it 
will eventually happen.   There are some extremely smart people working on 
plex86.  I've been watching this list for a while now, and I can say that 
plex86 has made major progress over the past few months, and I think it 
will continue to do so.
