[plex86] kernal incompatabilities?

I've subscribed to this list for a few weeks now and have heard all of these neat 
things happening. When I update from cvs and try to run the sample guest systems, it 
doesn't work. I do have the kernal module loaded. I'm begining to think that it's me 
and not the unfinished nature of plex86. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this 
trouble. I can get the exact console output if needed.
