You do have to install the font.
copy it from the misc directory under your plex86 install (it is called
vga.pcf) to your X-windows font directory (where-ever RedHat puts it)
gzip it
chmod it (read-only)
mkfontdir <your fonts directory>
killall -HUP xfs (tells the font server there was a change)
xset fp rehash (fix the lookup tables for the new font?)
this should be done as root.
For more info look under the docs/xml directory under your plex86 install
(as these seem to be the most current)
