Intel documentation, both from Intel and from others, is riddled with
inaccuracies, incomplete info, etc.  If you look at manuals from
the whole x86 line, you sometimes see a doc bug fixed, then changed
again to be incorrect or partially correct.

The only way to know, is to write a test program and hit all
the x86 processors with it.
