The original problem involved having a file named TODO and a directory named
todo. I'm all for people doing things under whatever OS they choose. (I'm
anti-MS, not anti-Windows. There is a difference.) The problem being that
Windows does not have case sensitive filenames. I don't think it's elitist
to say that the OS being used to retrieve the CVS tree is crippled in a way
by that.
