As i wrote in a previous post, i think we should focus on plex86 
specific code, and rely on Bochs code whenever possible.

For example, Bochs is quite actively updating its emulated devices and
bios, and its configuration utility is working. 

So, we will need somebody that does the updates of shared code between 
Plex86 and Bochs, in both directions.  Then each project can benefit 
from the other. This will also reduce duplicated work.
