But plex86 is a bit different from emacs, plex86 needs to "intergrate"
with windows to do its job if I'm right. That means a GPL
volitation. I don't have any knowledge about windows, can somebody
tell me how the interface works on that platform?

Looking at code is always useful IMHO. :-)

We can still license the current plex86 code under the LGPL and have
the valgrind code in a seperate directory under the GPL and just make
a configure option for it.
