I upgraded vlc to the 1/11 release of version 0.8.5-0 tonight and am seeing a
core dump crash on startup.

This is occurring on a (3 machines actually) Mandriva devel/community system.

All urpmi sources are current and point to devel sources.

This crash happened both before and after the Mandriva updates on Xorg 0.6.9
and the KDE updates of today. It also occurs on a 2006 Official machine with
only the 2006-devel packages necessary for plf installed.

I didn't see any additional dependencies when upgrading, and contribs and
main, as well as both plf, commercial, jpackage, etc. urpmi spources, etc.
are updated.

I see no errors on a console when launched from there, but did get something
from gdb, which is pasted below.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Thanks in advance,
Rick Kunath
