Well, not to go miles off topic, but they did at least let someone else
pick up the Sam and Max license...

but yeah, that was my thinking too. It actually works in LucasArts'
favour, because it enables people to play the games not just on Linux
but on XP (where many of them don't really work properly), thus driving
sales of the SCUMM games that are still available (several of them are).
I guess maybe 50% of the current sales of them wouldn't happen without
scummvm.
