I am busily packaging free Source Ports to Vavoom, D2X, Rise of the
Triad (Rott) Transfusion, Duke Nukem 3D.

The main Benefit of Vavoom is superior Quake like OpenGL support for
Doom, as well as support for Heretic, Hexen, and Strife. PrBoom cannot
provide this. This is a GPL application, but I was wondering if
shareware Doom 1, and Doom 2 Wads could be availible as a seprate PLF
Package.

The main benefit of d2x is Descent I and II

but d2X relies on HAM, PIG and HOG files. Like WAD files, These are
Shareware Content files.

Transfusion (Blood) will be really confusing. Blood was a cult classic
Dos game based on Duke Nukem 3D's Build Engine. You can't play this game
under Windows much less Linux.

Transfusion is not a Source Port Dos Engine. Transfusion is a completely
"from scratch" remake of one of the cult classic. It uses no Content
from the original game, its based on Quake, not Build, and can only be
used for Death Matching in its stable form.

Duke Nukem 3D's source port is extremely buggy, and only works with
Atomic Edition as far as I know. PLF cannot do anything here.

Rise of the Triad (Rott) is a very primitive yet complete Source Port.
It works.

You could Package the Shareware "The Hunt Begins" Levels.
