Hi everyone,

like last year I'm currently working to release some ISO's including
PLF packages

The first working DVD I tested yesterday. It is based on 2007.0 Release
(Mandriva + PLF), contains the current updates and the needed Contrib
packages.

I will also try to make 4 CD ISO's for people who don't want download the
big DVD ISO.

At the moment you can select the following PLF packages during Install, the rest
after Installation with urpmi:

xsnow, umpnbump, spacehulk, qfcc, quakeforge-clients-fbdev,
quakeforge-clients-glx,
quakeforge-clients-sdl, quakeforge-clients-sdlgl, quakeforge-clients-x11,
quakeforge-common, quakeforge-maptools, quakeforge-plugins, quakeforge-servers,
quakeforge-utils, xmule, nicotine, amule,mldonkey, mldonkey-chat,
mldonkey-ed2k_submit,
mldonkey-guimldonkey-init,lopster, napshare, gtk-gnutella, qtella, mythtv,
mythtv-frontend, mythtv-backend, mythtv-setup, mythvideo, googleearth,
kmldonkey,
transcode, Video-DVDRip, vobcopy, dvdshrink, win32-codecs, cinelerra, pine,
unarj,
unace, unrar, unarj

Are there any wishes or important packages missing (perhaps there is a list
with favorite
packages)?

I want to build the final ISO's this weekend and upload them at Monday or
Tuesday on the
same ftp mirror as last year:

ftp://anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk/spuch/plf/mandriva

Is there anyone who can (wants to) add a link to the FAQ:
"Is there a alternative Mandrivalinux iso with PLF packages?" (Should be "an
alternative")

or perhaps someone wants to make an PLF announcement? (What needs an ISO if no
one use it)

Regards Stefan
