Wouldn't the propietary drivers for ATI and NVIDIA be recognized and installed correctly when these hardware are detected by the installer or by the harddrake ? (only having them available in the repositories). On the other hand, don't you think also that would be interesting the include of the "non-free" repository from Mandriva Cooker to have the remaining propietary drivers (wifi's, hsfmodems, ...). These packages are not available for 2007.0 version, but can be downloaded from cooker.
