That was a typo, I meant "-vo dxr3", sorry. Btw: that wouldn't work with mandriva supplied em8300 module: it's a version that switched to using alsa by default and doesn't accept the "audio_driver=oss" parameter. I had to download em8300-0.16.2 > ps. since 2007.0 we also have VDR packages in the official repositories > as packaged by me :) Yes, I know, and it actually would have avoided me to patch and recompile my own module ;-) but old habits die hard, and the problem here is with plf mplayer (didn't try vanilla mdv or recompiling it from source), vdr works fine.
