Oh, I didn't install dkms-em8300, I only tryed with the modules that
comes with the kernel, and since it was late I just downloaded the
source from the project page.

mplayer -vo dxr3 fotos/20070223_ensayo_musica_jan/dscn1407.mov
(I also tried with -ao oss:/dev/em8300_ma-0 and -ao null, just to
exclude the audio part. The decoder part seems also fine, since with -vo
null it works).
