Yes, Rafael wears many different open-source hats. :-) I had forgotten his qhull involvement, and I am sure there are other open-source projects of his that I am unaware of, but I have been recently watching in admiration from the sidelines as the Debian jed team (for which he is an active member) has been doing a lot of packaging work for my favorite light-weight editor.
