For your information, there have been some changes recently in the
leadership of the PLplot team because Rafael has decided he does not want to
do development for PLplot any more.  It's been an amicable parting of the
ways, and, in fact, we continue to designate him as a developer (emeritus)
in recognition of all the many ways he has helped us in the past.

Geoffrey, Maurice, and I felt we needed to fill the vacancy on our
leadership team left by Rafael, and Andrew Ross has kindly agreed to take on
this role.

Welcome to the leadership team, Andrew!  You have contributed a lot to
PLplot over the last several years, and I am personally looking forward to
seeing what improvements you will be bringing to PLplot in the future.
