Hi Arjen, I reverted all the changes to the Fortran 77 bindings, since I found out, that Arjen already made corresponding changes for Fortran 95 bindings and his changes were much more elegant, so I made the same for the Fortran 77 bindings. I hope this works now (since I can't test it).
