I've updated the website, and the example look to be correct now.

It looks like the problem with PLplot Online was that it simply wasn't 
up to a good nightly(?) thrashing by Yahoo's web crawler. I've added a 
robots.txt file to the site which will hopefully deal with the problem 
to some extent. If it stays up for a week then I'll add the link back.
