Hi Werner,

I now have more information on the issue with F90/95:

It turns out that the DLL contains symbols like _plplot_MP_pladv (with
the usual decoration vis-a-vis Fortran modules) and the _import_
library contains symbols like __imp_plplot_MOD_pladv. The prefix is
clear, but I am puzzled over the _MOD_ infix. This causes the linker
to complain.

One possibility (but probably a remote one) is that dlltool gets
in the way. (dlltool is not necessary anymore, but I am not sure
I have used the very latest sources of everything). Anyway, it
ought to be simple to check - it will just be taking some time.

Regards,

Arjen
