To Maurice and Andrew:

Since the earth was cooling we seemed to have been maintaining a list of
configurable #define PLD_* macros in both include/plDevs.h.cmake and
config.h.cmake, and I have a question about those configurable macros.

Could one of you (or anybody else here) remind me why we maintain two
duplicate lists? Ideally, I would like to get rid of all the

#cmakedefine PLD_*

configurables in config.h.cmake, and use #include "plDevs.h" where needed
(e.g., in the small fraction of files in drivers/* that do not include
plDevs.h now.)

Comments on that possible change would be appreciated.

Alan
