For emacs users there is a cmake mode that allows you to style the DocBook
source using the ctrl-alt-\ key combination.  I tried that after your
changes and no further changes were needed.  (Also, "make validate" worked
for me as well after I sorted out some more "embedded blank in directory
name" issues that have nothing to do with your patch.)
