Since I have accomplished part of 2b in the last 4 months I feel it is time to bring up the subject of another release :). Seriously though it has been more than 6 months since the last release, lots of improvements have been made in the meantime and I'm starting to feel like a release is overdue. I'll throw out the end of April as a target date.
